Meanwhile, it is no longer so easy to find the time to build instruments for my studio. But ... with this guitar I succeeded.
Two special features make this guitar something special.
First, the rust finish that Adam Rafferty named "Soho". This is because his guitar reminds him of his old home in NY, and especially of the Soho district with its many old rusty steel buildings.
Secondly, the pickup. Udo Rösner, always looking for improvements, has developed a pickup that works with a symmetrical piezo sensor. This makes it possible to work without a preamp in the guitar. This means that the symmetrical signal is sent via a stereo jack cable into a foot pedal (preamp, DI box etc.). In this box, the two signals are inverted again, which cancels out all the noise that the cable always catches (like an antenna). The result is an interference-free signal, which in addition not only clean, but also sounds wonderful.
This system will also be officially available in the course of 2023 ... that's the plan.
